Download and open
Get SummaPOS_Setup_1.2.1.exe and double-click it.

Connect with your code
Type the register code you generate in My business → Registers. No account yet? Create one for free here.
The Summa POS app comes in English and Spanish. It starts in
your Windows display language (Spanish Windows opens it in Spanish,
any other in English). To switch, go to Settings → Appearance →
Language and reopen the app.
Getting a warning when you download or open the installer?
That's normal: Summa POS is a new program and isn't downloaded
widely enough yet for your browser and Windows to recognize it. The
installer downloads straight from our servers.
- When downloading, your browser may hold the file back (if you don't see the download, press Ctrl+J). In Edge ("isn't commonly downloaded"): hover over the download and click "…" → "Keep" → "Show more" → "Keep anyway". In Chrome ("Suspicious download blocked"): open the download and choose "Download suspicious file".
- When opening it, if Windows shows the blue "Windows protected your PC" warning (SmartScreen): click "More info" and then "Run anyway".
Requirements
- 64-bit Windows 10 or 11.
- 4 GB of RAM or more recommended.
- Internet only to activate your account, sync and invoice — you don't need it to sell.
- Optional: an ESC/POS receipt printer (58 or 80 mm) and a barcode reader — or use your phone as a scanner.
